Gary said he liked the idea.

At least one person (Niall) doen't think it's a good idea. Perhaps some sort of vote thingy is in order.

Also, I guess there is the understandable issue of those who don't expect to be there every week for the next 10.

It would therefore make sense, to me, to have a buy-in to the compitition(rather than take it from the pot each week) for those who DO want to be involved, and only they would earn points, and hence be in with a chance to win. - Barry
